Starting the day at $290/$499 (1.72 roi) after a piss-poor weekend at the Big A. Rain in the forecast today so assuming an off track.
Race 1 - #4 Before You ($6 Win, $2 ex key box 4/1,2) A couple of well-bred first-timers on the outside will take all the money, but it wouldn't surprise me if they both flop. This girl ran a nice debut in Tampa and now comes north, moves into the Mott barn, and lures Cancel away from the Linda Rice firster on the rail.
Race 2 - I really like the #1 in this race so going outside the box and posting a Pick 3 with potential, I think, for a decent payoff (1/3,4,5,7/2,6,8,9) - $16
Race 5 - #1 Bella Principessa ($6 WP) I was on her a month ago and she broke badly, never had a chance. If she doesn't veer in at the start this time she'll be very dangerous.
Race 6 - #3 Three Jokers ($6 WP, $3 ex 3/1,7, $2 ex 1,7/3) I'm always a fan of fresh four year-olds making their first start of the year with added blinkers. If the work tab looks good I almost blindly play this angle.
